As we compile "Best of 2005" I need your help. Recommendations, requests, guidance...which song from "honeycomb"? which eels instrumental ? These are tough decisions that I will agonize until about January 15th about. So please send me your input.
Well, we've been listening to our local hip hop y reggaton station with just this list in mind . . . right now, I'm having a tough time moving beyond the lyrical masterpiece that is the Black Eyed Peas' "My Humps," but I'll continue to ponder.
I'd have to cast my vote for a couple of songs bordering on novelty, maybe because they have an early 80s vibe....Beverly Hills by Weezer and My Doorbell by the White Stripes...also, continuing on the novelty song theme - Gwen Stefani's cheerleader song is quite catchy. I'll have to think harder to come up with some 'serious' contenders.

as far as black eyed peas, we're looking for the best of 2005 not the worst (good live show though).
OK, here's one for you — NIN's Closer meets The Beatle's Come Together in DJ Zebra's mashup ComeCloser
I'll see your "come closer" and raise you a Led Snooppelin
